Hello! If you are following our Instagram account, then you might have noticed a few pictures from my visit to MAC, back when I was in Romania. My good friend Anca (from Anca Buldur Makeup) is now a make-up artist for MAC and she helped me put together a simple make-up tutorial for you guys. We agreed on something simple yet versatile, so you can wear it at work, but also on your Tinder date. What?!?! Yeah, you know what I mean…
Step 1: We start off with a clean, make-up free face. Baby hairs included. Step 2: Eye make-up. Yes, before applying foundation or anything else. This is Anca’s method and she swears by it. Why? Because this way, you don’t have any eye shadow powder that you have to remove and by applying the foundation and concealer later on, you can correct or give the exact shape that you want to the eye make-up. It’s kinda genius, I must admit.
For an eye base she used Paint Pot Painterly, after which she applied four different eye shadows. Nylon (inner corner and brow bone), Paradisco (upper eyelid), Texture (crease) & Embark (lower eyelid). Step 3: For my face, Anca used Prep+Prime Skin Smoother, Studio Fix Fluid foundation, Mineralize Concealer and Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder. Step 4: For a little bit of definition she used Mineralize Skinfinish Soft&Gentle powder and Harmony Powder Blush. Step 5: Now, a little eyeliner goes a log way, right? It also makes your eyes look smaller, but it adds a lot of drama. You can clearly see what a difference the Technakhol Liner in Graphblack makes. Step 6: Don’t forget to finish off with a nice layer of mascara ( Studio Fix Mascara), and then let’s move on to the juicy part: the lips.
