Let’s start this week with a feature post on one of the loveliest bloggers from Aarhus, Nicoline. As part of the Meet our favourite bloggers project, we took Nicoline’s pictures in Wood Wood, her favourite store in Aarhus, where she spotted a beautiful navy bomber jacket that she fell in love with. Check her style out on Nicoline’s Blog and find out more about her in the interview bellow.
SAHB: Tell us a bit about your morning beauty routine.
Nicoline: Actually, that’s quite a long story. However, to sum up I’m washing my hair (approximately three times a week) with two different shampoos and a conditioner or hair treatment afterwards. Then I’m doing my make-up while the hair towel-dries. Next up are oils for the hair and lotion and vitamins for my body. Last but not least, I’m blow-drying my hair and style it with fibre wax and hairspray.
SAHB: Where do you get your inspiration when creating an outfit?
Nicoline: I get inspired by many different things: classics like street style, blogs, travelling, magazines, shops etc., however, I also get inspired by looking at fashion through time: How did they look in the 70’s, what were they wearing in the 80’s or how did I look myself 15 years ago? Inspiration can be everything from a specific look to a feeling or mood.
SAHB: Describe your personal style in three words.
SAHB: Have you ever experienced a wardrobe malfunction in public?
Nicoline: Yes! I’ve always been very gutsy when it comes to fashion and trends, which easily can make you feel misplaced – especially if you come from the suburbs as I do. Furthermore, there are always the classic under-/overdressed situations – we all hate them, don’t we?
SAHB: Is there a fashion rule that you will never break?
Nicoline: There’s many, I guess. One of them concerns low-waisted skirts (it’s not a general fashion rule, however, it’s a rule when you’re only 165 centimetres tall) and the same applies to 3/4 leggins.
SAHB: What’s your guilty pleasure?
SAHB: When did you feel the proudest as a fashion blogger?
Nicoline: That’s actually a difficult question, as I have a quite relaxed relationship to my blog. However, when I became a part of Fashion Unit, when other bloggers link or refer to my blog and then I’m always proud when I’m asked to interviews or similar.
SAHB: When is the last time you laughed your heart out?
Nicoline: The weekend with NorthSide Festival where I had the best time with sweet friends and lovely music.
