Porte de Clignancourt- Les Puces – Flea Market Paris

As you know, we looove flea markets! They are the best way to find “real treasures”  for a fair price. Therefore we had to check out the biggest flea market in Europe, the one from Porte de Clignancourt in Paris!  The flea markets in Paris started centuries ago when the ‘pêcheurs de lune’ or the fishermen for the moon were trying to sell anything of value. Today, it’s an entire neighbourhood filled with stories, antiques, art, jewellery and everything vintage. It’s a must-see when going to Paris and the best place to find that perfect souvenir.

It was a bit tricky to get there, but when you do get there, well…it’s fascinating!  I couldn’t leave the market empty handed so I bought a pair of DKNY vintage sunnies that you can spot in one of the pictures and a little keychain camera that is more than 100 years old!

What do you think about flea-markets? Don’t you love them? 🙂

Bisous,

A
